Well I sold the 756, but I just couldn't resist this sweet little 324e! Hard to believe, but I found a new sound in this one that's different than my other seven GAs. Brilliant tone with nice warmth and just a hint of hog dryness enhanced by that blackwood. I installed ebony tuner buttons and dyed bone bridge pins. Lots of fun to play this honey of a guitar!

That is one gorgeous backset of blackwood! Congrats!
-
Impressive. Most Impressive.

Congratulations, I enjoy the 300s as well. Nice additions

Hey Strumming! Welcome to the 324 club!!!! 8)
You description of that guitar is spot on.......to my ears....it's a beautiful sounding "oddity" among the typical Taylor sound. Oh so very warm and rich while still maintaining the great Taylor note separation ! I love mine and it's not going anywhere. Dare I say it's "Martin-ish" :)
I really do think that more and more people are beginning to realize how great that Mahogany and Tasmanian Blackwood combo really is!
-
Congrats, it's beautiful in a simplistic way. ;)
-
Great looking piece of Blackwood on that one, "SF!" I concur with you and "jjrpilot": the Mahogany/Blackwood 300's are a pleasantly different-sounding option in the Taylor line! Enjoy!
-
woah. that came out of nowhere! congrats!
-
Thanks everyone - I highly recommend this guitar. Great sound and looks - the satin finish is actually refreshing, and the appointments are classy and understated. The fit and finish are no different than my more expensive Taylor's. This guitar has reconfirmed to me what a great company Taylor is! Oh - and Andy Powers hit a homerun with this wood combo. Thanks again to Eric Martin of Martin Music for his great service and friendsjip!

Congrats SF, what a beauty. Now I wish I had played the 322ce at the Roadshow last week...I will try to experience this tonewood someday while you enjoy that great addition to your collection.
-
Aaah! That's just beautiful, who needs a girlfriend...
-
Beautiful- Nice photos and nice addition w/the ebony tuner buttons. Enjoy!
-
I'm clearly biased, but I don't find anything sick about wanting and getting a 324. It's a wonderful guitar....
-
When I saw the picture of the back.............WOW just came out.
Gorgeous!
If it plays and sounds as good it looks, you found a treasure.

Very nice! love the blackwood/hog combo. I couldn't resist my 15 hog/sapelle 324 when I found it in the store although I do admit I like this top better than mine ;)
-
that is one sweet guitar!
-
Thanks again everyone! What fun I'm having with this exceptional instrument.
-
Nice..... Don't worry just enjoy the guitar and time will tell. Congrats
-
