Hi from Tampa
« on: September 02, 2013, 08:01:43 PM »
Just outside Tampa actually.  Been playing guitar 40+ years, hoping to get good some day.  Thanks admins for enabling my account so quickly, and I look forward to adding something constructive to the forum.

Thanks all of you.  I'm working on a web site for my guitars - you can visit it if you like to see the first pictures.  It's at www.usdreads.com.

Welcome darefugee. I used to live out that way, in Valrico. Sure miss being near the water. Nice collection. Good to see a LoPrinzi in the mix. I met the LoPrinzi's (father and daughter) a few years ago. Really talented folks.

Yes thanks Az.  I live in Brandon.

I'm very happy with the LoPrinzi.  It sounds much like the D-28 although it feels different, neck is a bit thicker and wider and string spacing is different as well.  It's a keeper for sure.  When I first got it I took it to Donna LoPrinzi for repair.  It was good to have the folks who actually made the guitar right nearby.

My next small manufacturer target is a Mossman.

Hey darefugee. The current decade is conspicuously under-represented in your gear list.  Any purchases on the horizon?
