Hi all,
I am in Mission Viejo, CA, grew up in NJ. I started playing in my late teens, played on and off for about 10 years and then dropped out of it. I picked up playing about 3 years ago, I am playing in a local church 2 times a week and loving it.
I started buying and selling and slowly worked my way up to an 814ce last year and a 514ce this year. I am done, can't find anything else to sell to fund the guitars :)
It is nice to see this forum come together, thanks for starting it up.

Well, it's raining right now in Sandy Eggo! It's been pretty wet all week.

"does truly never rain in Southern California?"
Tell you a story, I was dragged here by my native Californian wife, she promised me that earthquakes are not a big deal :)
We moved at the end of November 2004 when California had the second heaviest rain season in history, there are arguments that claim it was the heaviest ever, for the entire month of December it rained almost non-stop. The rain was so hard that it felt as they were dropping 55 gallon drums full of water on the roof.
Sooo .... there I sad saying to myself like heck it never rains in California!

Hi, I am sorry I missed the replies.
Sure, that would be nice, I find I am more comfortable playing with other people. I play Saturday evening and Sunday morning at a Lutheran church on El Toro in Lake Forest.
Take care.

I love So. Cal, especially the 70 degree weather!!! Spent some time in San Diego and Monterey and hope to get back to tour Taylor at some point.
