Mint 2016 Taylor 614ce for sale
« on: March 18, 2018, 08:23:33 PM »
This is a 2016 model, but has lived in a case in a climate controlled environment since I bought it with almost no play time, and zero fret wear.  This is the revamped bracing system (prior to V-class) that gives the maple a much bigger bass response - much more rich and "rosewood-like" than you might expect from maple (which, by the way goes well with the brown sugar stain).

Gloss finish except satin on back of neck
Expression system 2 pickup
Grand auditorium (20 in length; 16 in width; 4-5/8 in deep)/ venetian cutaway
25-1/2 in scale with a 1-3/4 in width and 20 frets
With original hardshell case, also in perfect condition

$2200.00/ I'll cover shipping.  CONUS only.

That is a great guitar. One of, if not my favorite out of all mine. Andy Powers did such a magnificent job on this guitar. Someone is going to be very lucky to snag this.

Just a heads up, it’s a 2015 model. That doesn’t change anything in your description though. You can tell from the 1st and 7th digits in the serial number.

The OP hasn't been on the forum for nearly 4 years. I'd suggest sending him a PM too.

FYI - unless you are actually logged in, you cannot see PM's in your inbox.  If he has an email listed as part of his profile, that would be the way to reach out.  If it is still available, a 614 of that vintage is considered by many to be the apex of Taylor tone (Advanced Performance X bracing, relief route).

One has to be careful to note the dates of posts when using the search functions.  It happens to all of us, no biggie.
Taylors:  424-LTD (all koa) and a 114ce that lives with friends in Alaska.  Low maintenance carbon fiber guitars are my "thing" these days, but I will always keep the koa 424.  Several ukulele and bass guitars too.
*Gone but not forgotten:  a 2001 414ce, 410, 354-LTD twelve string, 314-N, 416-LTD baritone, T5 Classic, 615ce, 2006 GS-K, 1996 (first year) Baby

Got the PM guys!  Thanks for directing the poster to me.  But, no, that guitar is long gone.  I purged a lot of stuff on Reverb around that time.
