Which one do you play?

Do most often grab the one that is out and most convenient, or do you go for your favorite one(s) that is/are stored in their case(s)?

Or do you leave your favorite one out on a stand so it's convenient to play?

Well.. for some unknown reason I grab the 2008 coco Fall Ltd , Just something magical an haunting  here. There always in there cases with small dog covers , . But yet still I go for the GAce Cocobolo Ltd

Each one's in a different tuning, so it depends on what I feel like playing.

All stay in their cases when I'm not playing them.

I keep my Voyage-Air by the couch so that actually gets more play time than the others do. I also have another stand in the room, and I'll keep one of my other guitars on that as well – so I swap between them as I feel the urge.

it's a cover designed to protect & insulate the case, made by Colorado Case Co

there are other companies that make them for guitar cases also, but not this one

for me, it depends on how much time i have to play, which one hadn't been played in a while or
which one i'd like to hear - 'rattle the windows' or, perhaps, something a little more 'intimate'

or, it could be the one that due for a string change & a little more attention -
tuning machine, bridge pin, saddle, strap pin/hardware & pick-up upgrade

Right now mine are all snuggled away in their cases with humidifiers since it is winter.  But when I want to play, 10 times out of 10 I will grab my 710.  Still is my favorite no matter what I am playing.

Answer to the OP: whichever I "feel" like playing at that given moment as they're all on the wall for exactly that reason, to get played.  But just for sheer "wanna chill and play a bit" it seems my RT-style2 keeps nabbing my ear.  Just sounds soooo right!

I have a case that is sitting on my couch.  I found that if I rotate this I will grab whatever is in that case.  Also I have finally given in and just tuned down all 3 of the guitars in my rotation.  There were some that were not getting played because much of what I like playing is in Eb.

These days, I most often grab my 814ce ... second, is my 414ce (Sitka/Walnut) which I have in alt tuning right now ... the only guitar I leave out is my 114ce; I'll grab it when I only have a few minutes to play or want to take it out on the porch ...

I have several favorites.  So I rotate them out to the family room from the music room.  They all stay in the cases, but I have one in the family room next to my chair so when I get the urge, I take it out and play.  When I am done I put it back.  Four of my Taylors are xx16 models made of different materials.  I really like that size.  They all have their special sounds and they all play great.
I have other than Taylor models and they also get their turn.

My GA-K comes out of the case most often when playing at home. Just sounds better in my computer room where most of my pickin' occurs.

But I gotta say, the GS-LTD is out quite a bit too!

It's way too dry here to leave them out, so I rotate cases into the living room for everyday play. Lately my 714ce has survived the rotation more than my Lowden. Most likely due to the material I'm working on at the moment. But man, I can tell ya that I do love this 714. Six years and counting!

All of them in rotation. There's also a Larrivee OM10K not listed in my signature. That one probably gets the least play time, because I feel more comfortable with any one of my four GAs. My goals is to have seven GAs in various flavors - one for each day of the week!
