Hey all. Was planning on getting a mini hog later this year. Went into my local guitar shop to try a few out. They had the miniE with Rosewood. Couldn't justify paying extra for the electronics when I won't use them. They happen to have one without. Loved the look of the rosewood! Was honestly a little disappointed with the tone of the hog when tuned down a half step. Seemed too muddy to me. The Spruce/Rosewood really sang! Gave in and brought her home that day. Have to say thanks to the guys at Sound Vibrations for being very kind, professional, and for giving me a great deal! Here she is...

She's definitely a beaut! You will really enjoy having a mini. Mine travel, go to neighborhood jams, and keep me company when relaxing. They do just about anything ;).

Looks great!

Sure is a fine looking guitar to me. My local Taylor dealer is supposed to have a couple of rosewood/electrics GS minis on order. I would like to check them out when they come in. If they look half as nice as yours I might have to spring for one.

That is one of the nicest I've seen! Congrats on taking your time to play through your choices and picking one that sounds nice. Tone is very important to me. Of course, yours is beautiful, too, so I'm glad to hear you like how it sounds as well. :)
