Ellen Degeneres show 2/14/12

Today Ellen had Giorgio on - a singer who has gained YouTube fame going around and singing at various places like the fast-food drive thru and the dentist's office.  He was in LA walking the streets and singing while playing a Taylor guitar.  Then later on the show he told Ellen he didn't own an guitar and she said "you do now" and gave him a 514ce.....nice.

I don't like Ellen too much (I just don;t think she's funny), but she wins points with me for giving the guy a real nice guitar.

I love Ellen and I think she's hilarious.  This isn't the only time or the only area of her life in which she's shown compassion.

in the first 2 segments, he's playing a 714ce cedar (07-11) with black strap

Nice to see someone's taking over where Oprah left off.  Ellen just needs to up her game alittle to really fill Oprah's shoes.  Everyone's gotta start somewhere though, and what a nice start this was esp. for Giorgio.

I saw the Sonic video about a month ago and thought it was fantastic.  Just not too sure why he would say he didn't have a guitar since there are tons of videos of him playing his favorite songs on Youtube.

Today - 01-17-13 Josh Hopkins was on the Ellen Show and played a Taylor.
