Epi 12 string
« on: October 01, 2012, 03:35:38 AM »
Does anyone know anything about Epiphone ej212ce sunburst? I've been looking at one in nice condition for what seems the right price, had a quick strum today & has a nice action for a 12er & rich tone even with old crap strings & made in either China or Korea. Apparently a ltd edition about 2006. I've always been a bit keen on having a 12 string but not enough to justify the price tag for a real one (Taylor)

I don't know about the specific model but the prevailing opinions about Epiphones are that some are very good and some are not so good. If you've found one that sounds good and plays well with crap strings, then you've found a good one.

If it matters, though, I bought a used 355 for $x US; I thought that was a good deal but I later saw one at $x US! So the used ones can be pretty inexpensive.
