Do they typically go to both NAMM shows or just Winter NAMM?

There's a pic on Facebook of the Taylor Summer NAMM display(s), so it appears they are participating.

Gary K
Taylor- 614ce (2012), 315ce (2010)
Martin- DX1 (2009)

from the pics, it looks like the number of guitars is scaled back at Summer NAMM
a little bit, compared to Winter NAMM  pics that Brian S generously shared with us

there are some other cool pics on Taylor's facebook page
zac brown with a jumbo 13-fret prototype -
to me, the upper bout looks a little more 'squared off &
the curve of the waist is not quite as 'tight'

all AA quilted maple :o -
no cutaway, No ES external controls (GC, perhaps ???)

Thanks for the links.

I'm curious about the 12-string in the middle on the bottom row of this pic:

Kinda looks like an all-mahogany guitar -- I like the color as it's more like Martin or Santa Cruz than Taylor's typical red mahogany stain.

to me, it looks like a BTO GS with koa rosette & binding (?)
abalone/MOP tropical vine inlay, ebony headstock overlay & chrome tuners -
i clicked on the pic from the facebook page, then right-clicked 'open image in new tab'
which allowed a little more magnification by clicking on the pic again & then zoom

I know that Barney Hill was there.  He's Taylor's District Sales Manager
for the area, as well as being one heck of a good man.
st
R.Taylor & Taylor, Goodall, Bourgeois, and Collings.
If only my skills were as sweet...

I have played one of the 13-fret Jumbo prototypes and I gotta say is it was one heckuva guitar.  I didn't want to put it down.

Is that an example of the design that Andy created?

i believe that it could  be, Herb -
David Mayfield plays a DN Prototype that Andy designed (W&S, vol 71, pg 8 ) & when i compare the contour of
the 13-fret jumbo body to the jumbo 12-string BR VI, the 13-fret looks like it has a little GS 'influence' in the
shoulders & waist (to me) ... i'd have to look back & see if the design team was listed for Zac's 13-fret NS74ce

just found a video clip of that all quilted maple BTO (it's a GA) -
it wasn't quite what i was expecting & to me it sounds like there is
more tweaking/revoicing going on with the hardwood tops ... sweet :D

can't wait to hear an all-walnut, imbuia, sapele or ovangkol :o
that'd be 8)
