was just noticing that some of the bocote grain pattern looks sort of similar to this amazon rosewood

When I get the pictures posted of my latest pens you'll see a cool comparison of Coco and IER. I'm loving these surprise grain patterns and the colors in them that are coming out on these pens. I also have striped/streaked/marbled/figured (whatever) Ebony that looks pretty cool.

No I haven't gotten to that point yet, but will eventually. It would be cheaper, and there is a supplier fairly close.
