The Podium closing
« on: May 15, 2013, 06:19:39 PM »
It's over on AGF but thought I'd post here.

Just got off the phone with Jeff and bought an Eastman MD315 mandolin for a very good price.  I got my Taylor T5C1 last winter and both times dealing with Jeff and his staff was a pleasure.  I'm sorry to see them go but wish him well in his retirement.

You know I don't post here nearly as much as I used to, but I'm pretty surprised this thread has been here over a month with no replies.

Anyway, Podium seems to be in some sort of a deal with Guitar Rodeo to live on in a new partnership/renaming...

There's a thread here, but 'The Podium' is not in the title.

I think that once they stopped carrying Taylors, there wasn't a whole lot of buzz here but they do carry many other fine guitars.
