Jagger

The Road Show guys told a nice story about Mick Jagger deciding to play an acoustic in their live tour. He apparently got private access to the Manhatten Guitar Center and after several hours of playing decided to get a 400 series Taylor. He liked the way it played.

Anybody seen him play it on tour?

Last New Years eve I saw the Stones New York concert from their last tour on tv & Mick J played a Taylor acoustic , not sure what it was though. The coolest thing was when Buddy Guy came on stage for a couple of songs, & at the end Keef handed him his black Gibson ES whatever & said "it's yours". Ah, to be given one of the coolest guitars on earth by one of the coolest blokes on earth !

there was a mention of him buying a 414 from Hank's in london (W & S, summer 01) -
couldn't find an original acoustic clip, but ran across a 8) cover (04 814ceL7 cocobolo)
it's not about what you play,
it's all about why you play ...
