Hello all, Which is the best wood to make a guitar? I always want to how to choose best guitar and what is the best way to know which wood used in that guitar. Please share your views. Thanks

Well, I guess we all start somewhere. Opinions differ on woods so instead of saying "best" I'll offer "popular" . . .
My favorite acoustic guitar woods are rosewood with sitka spruce top, and mahogany with European/Alpine spruce top. Popular woods for fretboards and bridges are rosewood and ebony.
If you'll scan the Taylor website you'll find the majority of models they offer are either spruce/mahogany or spruce/rosewood so those will be safe bets for your "best woods" choice.

I believe that the wood species is not the primary determination of what constitutes the best guitar. I have played guitars with top quality woods that I wouldn't pay a nickel for. What determines a great guitar is the build (shape, size, bracing, wood thickness, etc.). For example, the best guitar for my purposes is the Taylor grand auditorium. As such, I own 6 Taylor grand auditoriums, each with a different combination of wood species. I consider the woods merely different flavors of a great build, with none of them being superior to the other five. Hope this helps.

Well the original topic was modified with "Which is the best wood to make a guitar?". but as been pointed out, the wood is not necessarily the deciding factor in what makes the best guitar. That is determined by the ears of the listener, which can be expanded to as many different people that play and/or listen to one being played.
Having said that, my personal favorite is Spruce and Rosewood, but I do not exclusively buy guitars only made of those woods.
So just enjoy what there is to sample. And keep sampling.
