I have a SB classic I love it. I don't know if this something common or bad parts. The volume pot just started making a noise when it turned up or down a staticy kinda noise.

the volume pot may need to be cleaned -

i would suggest contacting Taylor customer service to see what
their recommendations are & to verify what can be safely used

I did just that and they told me what you said. And recomended I use compressed air. If that doesn't work I should contact a repair center. That kinda sucks I havant the guitar very lon and it's new.
