Wood and Steel
« on: September 29, 2014, 06:25:39 PM »
Wood and Steel arrived Saturday. Attempting to savor and read it slowly is like trying to eat M&M's one at a time.

1993(?) 410 Special Edition (Rosewood/cut-away)
1995 412
1997 810
1998 Mahogany Baby
2000 714
2010 DN3
2013 Mini Mahogany
2014 522 12 fret
About two dozen other brands of guitars, mandolins, ukuleles, banjos and Venezuelan Cuatros, not to mention the flutes, pennywhistles and the piano.

They're a weakness. I can stay away from most candy, but always grab an available handful of M&M's

Well you know, Taylor sends the first issues to their favorite customers first.
Just kidding!  I usually get mine a few weeks after most have already received theirs.

My copy came in today's mail.  Time to shut down to computer and read it!
Taylors:  424-LTD (all koa) and a 114ce that lives with friends in Alaska.  Low maintenance carbon fiber guitars are my "thing" these days, but I will always keep the koa 424.  Several ukulele and bass guitars too.
*Gone but not forgotten:  a 2001 414ce, 410, 354-LTD twelve string, 314-N, 416-LTD baritone, T5 Classic, 615ce, 2006 GS-K, 1996 (first year) Baby
