New To Taylor. Got my 914c today.

Ok.  First.....I am a Martin and Gibson guy with several of each.  Never would I have thought of a different acoustic guitar.

The 914c is freaking AMAZING!   I have never heard some much note content, note separation, even spectrum from an acoustic before.  I bought it without playing it first.   No one had a 900 series nearby.    I was looking for something to compete with my OM-42 as far as looks.  But with a different sound.

I feel like I just hit a Grand Slam in the World Series!

Congrats - you've been bitten by the Taylor bug, like I was  while in search of a custom Martin over twenty years ago. Enjoy the ride!

Thanks to you all.

I am totally amazed at the sound of this one more each time I play it.  It is mesmerizing.  I don't think I have ever heard that kind of note articulation and clarity from a guitar before.   I own several high end Martin and Gibson guitars.  They sound great.   But they don't sound THIS great!

Congrats!!!  Quite the guitar collection!!!  Well you now have the great trifecta of American made guitars!  Taylor, Gibson and Martin!  8)

EXCELLENT! That’s quite a compliment considering the depth of your Martin stable. Your 914 is definitely a different sound.
