I thought this might bring a smile to some one in need. Our Bitch gave birth to 4 healthy puppies last night
We're thrilled. And happy also.

Congrats! But you do realize that puppy pictures are more of a requirement than new guitar pics!

Oh my, so darn cute! Thank you for sharing that. My husband and I have always said we couldn't have a litter of puppies in our house, because we couldn't part with them. We'd have to ensure they were going to a great home.

Those Golden Retrievers are wonderful dogs. Those puppies look like champions. I know you're very proud. I'm afraid I'd be Like TaylorGirl; I'd find it very difficult to part with them. I know your're having fun.

Hey Jim, what breed are they (sorry for my ignorance)?
-
Although I grew up with dogs in Michigan, later in life I became very allergic to them. So we are cat people now (still allergic to a degree, but not nearly as much). Those little guys are adorable.
-
Hey Earl,
I have a friend who is allergic so they got a poodle hoping for the best. I have read where a labradoodle is also another choice. We had one a few years ago and she was one of the smartest dogs I've ever seen. She almost read my mind. She even learned to ring a bell I attached to the doorknob (to the back door) to go out.
-
I understand that Doulos - thanks for the info. But my wife is NOT a dog person at all, so cats it is. We are also both busy professionals, so low-maintenance independent cats are a far better choice for us anyway. Leave some kibble down and the cat flap open, and they are good to go.
I took allergy shots for three years just so I could be around dogs at all (and the Birch trees in my backyard, and the cats). The shots helped, but I still sniffle after just a few minutes of doggie exposure. On a scale of 1-4 for sensitivity to dogs, I'm a 5.5! I still love dogs and dog-sit for the neighbors when they are away, but even "non-allergenic" or "hair versus fur" dogs remain a problem. I have to take a Claritin and often a Benadryl too just to visit friends who have dogs in the house.
-
I understand wholeheartedly Earl. My son and grandson both have terrible allergies. Cats are great too. My daughter loves her cat. She calls him "Cool Cat".
-
They're 3 weeks old now. The puppies are Italian Greyhounds (toys dogs). They almost look like dogs now. Eyes and ears are open and they're starting to move around. Let the games begin. :)

Don't forget the pics, when you gave the chance. Thanks for the breed info....they are cute!

This little guy turns 15 in June

I finally remembered to post a new pic

Now that's cute! It's interesting how puppies snuggle with each other (and humans), to get that warmth. Our 2 did that alot when they were puppies and young adults. They still do it, but not as much. The copper colored puppy is sure tucked in. Thanks for the updated picture. Adorable.

Puppy piling. I just love it.

Congrats on the puppies. I'm jealous. They are super cute. I was working at a construction site yesterday and the construction supervisor had a goldendoodle in the construction trailer which just about licked me to death. He mentioned that his wife breeds and sells goldendoodle puppies. I was really impressed with how friendly and smart they are and would consider getting one but they were asking for more than a high end Taylor for the puppies. For now due to my living situation, I'd go with another Taylor before getting a puppy as I don't have a yard and you don't have to clean up or train the guitar like you do the puppy. If I was to get a puppy, I'd get a golden doodle, or maybe a sheltie, or if had a bigger yard, a golden retriever or golden lab.

He is rather indifferent toward Robbie, but she follows him everywhere. Don't be fooled, Moose is a notorious bunny killer. Which is odd, because he is the sweetest and most gentle dog I have ever known.
