Reshape Neck Profile

I got a K26e a few months ago and I really love the looks and sound but I've found the neck just a bit thick for me. My other Taylor is a GA with a slim carve neck which works well. I was wondering if it's possible or even advisable to have a luthier shave the neck to slim carve depth. Anyone have experience with something like this? Also, any recomendations for a Luthier in the Philadelphia area?

This is certainly possible, just make sure to select the right luthier. Unfortunately, I can't recommend anyone in Philly, but I'm sure someone who can will be along shortly.
