Howdy from East Texas
« on: January 14, 2014, 02:24:30 AM »
Howdy folks! I have been a fan of Taylors since 2000 when I received a Taylor 310ce from my father for my 21st birthday. I sadly lost that guitar in 2010. The second Taylor I owned was a T5 LTD but I didn't really bond with it so it got traded for a PRS. Now I work at a small music store... We had a well played 314 with some battle scars come in last week. I am always interested in 300s and 400s so I pulled it out of the case and ooooooooo-aaaaaaah pretty caramel koa everywhere. It is a 2000 314kce "Legends of the Fall". I made a deal with the boss on the spot. Now she's mine and her name is Honeysuckle. :-*

I live in East Texas
I play worship and psychamericana rock (strung out Cash and Willie covers etc.)
I am currently listening to "Cowboy/Hippie/Surf Rock" pioneer Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real and older Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals and a lot of other stuff too.

Thank's for the warm welcome!

It's not very visible in the pictures but there is a significant amount of pick wear between the back of the pick guard and the bridge. There are also two small cracks in the top on the upper waste. I think the pick wear is cool, but I'm taking it to the shop today to see what we can do about the cracks.

Nice Koa guitar.  I bet you love it.
