Taylor guitars Mumford & Sons
« on: June 03, 2016, 10:46:42 AM »
Here's a fun video I just came across featuring Mumford & Sons, Old Crow Medicine Show and others in an all-acoustic "all-star" jam of sorts.

It looks like Mumford is playing a a 414ce and another guy is playing Baby Taylor. Regardless of what they're playing, it looks like everyone is having a great time. I imagine this is what making music was like not so long ago, when people weren't obsessed with smartphones, social media, and 24-hour news.

I love Mumford&S for what appears to be a no-nonsense approach to making music, but then hitting it mainstream.  They've got the rhythms and harmonies down in spades, but dipped in old-school acoustic roots ...yet definitely rock!  This last part is important to me (why I don't like bluegrass, for example), and what makes Mumford so interesting, listenable, and fun.
