Back in 2012, I had my dream guitar built. I never thought I would even consider parting with it, I honestly planned on handing it down to my children. However, life has a funny way of changing things. With that in mind, I present to you this gorgeous and nearly flawless example of why Taylor builds some of the best guitars out there. On to the details!

Except when the guitar was being played, it has always been kept in a humidity and temperature controlled studio, in the case, with D'Addario Planet Waves two-way humidification system
Remember when I said, "...nearly flawless..."? Well, that's because there is a very small nick in the headstock. Careless stage hands caused that one. >:(

Ok, so now the price....This is a very well cared for guitar. Not to mention the fact that you can no longer harvest sinker redwood.
The guitar will come with the original case and paperwork, including the build sheet with an MSRP of $8,342.
I'm asking SOLD shipped anywhere in the CONUS. Feel free to make an offer, though.
NOTE: I’m not interested in trades of any kind, I have another guitar on hold already.

I’m trading the guitar into Guitar Center on Wednesday, Dec 26, 2018 if it doesn’t sell before then. I have dropped the price to $4,000 shipped. This is the bottom dollar price.

I'm not in a position to buy this lovely guitar, but I shudder at the haircut you are going to take by trading in to GC. Good luck either way.

The trade amount is actually pretty close to what I’m asking here. They value the guitar at the same amount I originally posted it for sale. I’m in a position where I’m ok with getting less than what I think it’s really worth just to make a quick deal.
