Anybody playing music on the porch tomorrow (Saturday 28th)?
Warming up some Beatle songs and other 'oldies', maybe even pre-British Invasion material. Scratch that 'maybe'.

I would love to but I seriously doubt it. The forecast for tomorrow here is 95* and over 80% humidity.
-
Cory,
Sorry to hear that. Weather forecast much more favorable for Massachusetts tomorrow.
RH currently 49 down from 70+;
temp 70+ degrees tomorrow down form 90s and 80s and 100+ heat index.
Working in the morning, but there's always the afternoon after Liverpool - Chelsea @12:30 pm E.S.T. on the telly.
For what it's worth, I have a couple of laminates that I use a lot when the humidity gets ridiculous. The ones that have 'lam' in my signature. Sounds like I'll probably be playing my Epiphone J-200 solid wood tomorrow.

Sounds like a nice day for you. I am actually worried more about me than my guitar. It would not be out long enough to bother it any way but I just do not handle heat and humidity like I used to.
Maybe I can try it in the evening.

Go for it!
I feel you about the weather, as we just went through a couple of bad weeks of heat and humidity, followed up by another few days of same wrapped around hurricane Henri.
'Play on the porch' is kind of just a fun idea that you can actually do anytime you want. I'll probably post the upcoming 'Talk Like a Pirate Day' too. Aaargh, Matey.
Be well.

Not me, still nursing a broken thumb. :(

Sorry Susie.
Maybe you can do some audience accompaniment with some 12 ounce curls and a tambourine. ;-)
Avast! Might ye be aboard for 'Talk Like A Pirate Day' about the third week in September then?
Aye. Got to sharpen me cutlass.

A late report here but: Yes I did. It was 80 degrees, and I was in the shade. It was very satisfying.

Nothing finer. Well, Almost.
