Hello fellow Taylor players!!
« on: July 21, 2014, 08:30:04 PM »
Ten years ago I had a beloved 412CE FLTD a 2003 model with rosewood back and sides and an engelman top. Also the first ES system.
On the road, playing in OH, it gets stolen.
Let's fast forward through ten years of having money enough for way inferior instruments, to now, where I'm the super proud owner of a NOS 2010 414CE. I'm finally smiling again when I close my eyes and listen.
The fingerstyle dynamic qualities are astounding, but flatpicking is also super dynamic.
I had missed the counter harmonic melodies the guitar would produce on it's own by simply vibrating.
It is SO GREAT to be a Taylor player again!!
And I'm so happy to find a forum Dedicated to these amazing instruments.
I look forward to sharing tales and tunes, and new acquisitions as they happen.
...most of all I'm looking forward to MANY YEARS of songwriting again.
2010 414CE
And a pair of happy hands.

Hello GreysSonicPlayground and welcome to the UTGF. :) Sorry to hear about your first guitar. Did you ever report it to Taylor that it was stolen? They do keep watch of serial numbers on stolen guitars.

Nice to have you here. Glad you found a guitar that makes you smile when you play it! The 414ce is awesome. :)

Welcome to the forum  GreysSonicPlayground.   You choose a nice Taylor in the NOS 2010 414CE.
