I just upgraded my Taylor from the ES2 to the ES-T ( pre-amp only) and this made this guitar manageable on stage. My 414 came with the ES-t preamp installed and now my 214 has the same equipment. My brother in law liked it so much he contacted Taylor and they sent him the ES-t preamp also. If you are having trouble controlling the boominess on stage this might be the right upgrade for you.
