Free bump for a killer Taylor!  Yikes, if I had the discretionary dough this would be mine.  This 2013 LTD is my favorite series of all Taylor-dom as the mahogany and euro spruce are a gorgeous tonal pairing, and in a GS body even bolder!  Darn good thing this doesn't have a cutaway or I'd be in real trouble trying to explain this as an impulse buy.  GLWTS!!

thanks, Edward.....I've owned 25-30 guitars over the last 6+ years...from 1000 used to 6000 new...they've come and they've gone.....for the last 2 years I've had only 2 guitars, and this FLTD is one of them.......it found its way to the top of the keeper list over and over again because it does everything so well..... strumming or finger style, plugged in or unplugged, performing loud or softly, great Taylor neck and fret board, plus it is one beautiful piece of workmanship.......Wood and Steel, Fall 2013 tells all about this Limited production.....very tough decision to sell...it's just time.....

Beautiful. I owned one of these before - it was probably the best Taylor I ever owned. Unfortunately life got in the way and I had to sell. Good luck on your sale, whomever buys it will be getting a killer guitar!

have not yet expanded the sales effort beyond UTGF (no big hurry to let her go).....this price is a Reverb/PayPal type price...gotta allow for all the fees, etc......if someone from here on UTGF wants my FLTD the price will be much less.....the final price will take a back seat to finding the right buyer.....PM me if  you're interested...we'll talk.....

I own this model in a GA body style.  I really do enjoy mine.  What can you tell me is the tonal difference with your GS.

MGap.....when they first came out and I read about them in the W&S and thought "this looks like the guitar for me".....I'd been playing a 2009 855ce since 2009 and now wanted a 6 string.....the first 2013 FLTD I got was the 514ce, the GA.....loved it from the first strum.....and being a jumbo and a 12 string player for years I kept wondering if the 514 was this awesome could the 516 give me "even more"? so I got a 516.......but didn't let the 514 go right away, the 516 would have to prove itself to me first.....so to answer your question (finally...ha...ha..) the GS version of this FLTD has a bit more bottom, call it, fullness, and a bit more volume.....over all balance of all strings is very similar in both, with the 514 having a little EQ bump in the mids to upper mids, and the 516 EQ bump would be in the lows and lower mids.....hope that makes sense.....neither is a "better" guitar than the other.....just depends on the player and the style.....ever so slight edge to the 514 for finger style, and the same slight edge to the 516 for rhythm players.....but both bodies handle both styles with ease.....I've been around Taylors since my 2009 855ce and I've read every W&S along the way.....the 814ce has always been considered the flagship of all Taylors.......personally, I have never played an 814 that sounded as good as the 2013 514ce FLTD or the 516ce FLTD.....
