Guitar Center has a few Taylors designated as "First Article"; for instance:
"Taylor First Article K22e 12-Fret V-Class Grand Concert Acoustic-Electric Guitar Shaded Edge Burst"
on their website. I just happened to be at their store in southern CA and saw a 6xx level guitar with the same designation; the clerk didn't know anything about it. Searching GC's website for "Taylor First Article" shows 8 Grand Concert guitars with that label. Maybe it's what they're calling their XX2 guitars?
At first, I figured someone mis-typed "First Edition" - I've seen that designation. But "First Article"? Anyone know about this?
I guess I could call Taylor. -) But I wanted to share about this, perhaps we can all learn what it is. -)
