I'm still waiting for mine!!!

Since mine arrived today, I'm guessing the UK distribution is underway. However, I'm a bit concerned that we seem to be a whole Season behind on this side of the pond  :(.

Could this be yet another symptom of global warming?  :)

Looks like the OP didn't stay too long.

I never understood those that seem like they want to constantly bash Taylor...or what they do.  I said it before and I'll say it again, I love Taylor's W&S publication and I wouldn't change anything about it.  It WAS HUGE in helping me decide which Taylor I'd get...specifically which wood combination/body style to get.

No buyer's remorse here!   8)
I agree !! What do all the Taylor bashers out there get out of the constant bagging on Taylor? They(Taylor) are good folks producing a good product at a fair price. They are responsible in their environmental and business dealings and they do not bash their own competitors. I really enjoy W and S myself. And yes to the OP,I gladly sign, Mike "fanboy" Sellers

I normally refuse, or opt out of, company publications.  But Wood & Steel (WAS) is the finest such publication I've ever seen.  it is informative, educational, and enlarges my understanding of guitar technology, tone woods, construction, etc.

As to the comment that "marketing has taken over",  this is an anti-business mentality.  Good, successful companies have good marketing departments.  More power to them.  We're big boys and girls.....we can make our own decisions and we're not victims of marketing. Marketing informs us, and we are able to sort through the information in a way appropriate to each of us.  If I end up buying something I later don't like, it's my fault and I'll correct it in due course.

I own two Taylors, and Wood & Steel didn't impact my decision in the least.

It's a great mag, though...

Yeah, it's laminated Maple prototype 200 Series. Back and sides are satin, but the top is gloss. I think this was the result of some collaboration between Taylor and Doyle Dykes, given the "ghost" fingernail inlays. Perhaps a precursor to the DDX?

Hmmm... Perhaps...
