Exciting arrival today - Taylor 812ce-N - I've had a number of nylon strings over the years - starting with a Yamaha student guitar in college. Later on, I got a Yamaha acoustic/electric CGX122 that I had for a number of years. Got a Godin Multiac Duet in 2000, and really liked it, but sold it when I needed some extra cash - even though I missed it. Picked up an Ovation Country Artist that I gigged with a lot - eventually, it went too. Got a Rick Turner Renaissance RN6 that was great on stage....but the neck was too wide and flat for my taste...so I went back to a Godin last year.
I still missed having a 'real' nylon string that I could play both amplified and unplugged....so I started looking at Taylors - played an NS42, and liked it, and budget wise, targeted a 312ce-N.....but found this 812ce-N on Reverb for not much more. It's in beautiful shape, and plays exactly like I expected. Not great pics, but I'm a picker, not a picture-taker.
