Is this Andy Powers?
« on: January 20, 2012, 12:00:02 AM »
I was just watching this video of Jason Mraz from Taylor's 2010 NAMM show presentation and the guitarist playing next to Jason Mraz looks to me like it might be Taylor's Andy Powers. If so, what an amazing guitarist he is. And also cool how the people who build and design Taylors also play them so well!

P.S. If I have mis-identified him, forgive me, but with the hat, glasses and sideburns, it sure looks like him to me. And regardless of who he is, he's great at guitar :)

yep, that's Andy :D

that was actually one of the many reasons why Andy 'got the gig' at Taylor -
page 16-19 W & S Fall 11 has the article & the 'Bob on Andy : Born to Build' side bar

thanks for sharing the video, John :)

here one more worth checking out :o

it's not about what you play,
it's all about why you play ...
