In the past I've had many, and it made me uncomfortable.
I have 2 main gigging guitars: a steel string (Rainsong) and my Nylon (Taylor 114ce-N).
In a remote office I keep a cheap classical. Then there is my oldest guitar, which is
kept for sentimental purposes and because it plays/sounds great (Augustino dread, from 1981).
That one never leaves the house.
So that's 4. I also have a cheap electric, but that's just a diversion.

Which one's your bestie?

Enjoy,
Don

It can be a bit fluid - right now it's my sinker redwood/ovangkol GA that gets more play then others. But my 90s Taylors still get a lot of play time, and the K24, the Engelmann/maple and the adi/walnut all really shine as well....
My Taylor Grand Auditoriums:

1997 Cujo14 - old growth cedar/black walnut
2014 K24e - master grade koa
2018 Custom GA - bear claw sitka spruce/mahogany
2019 614 - torrified sitka spruce/flamed maple
2020 714 - lutz spruce/rosewood

But I still feel that seven would be an ideal number - one for each day of the week!
I hate to be the one to break the news, but some how you ended up with 8 guitars.  ;)
Will one have to go?
I think Strumming Fool has been listening to the Beatles song "Eight Days a Week"?  8)

It was one of my favorite songs when I was a kid - but "eight guitars a week" is feeling a bit overwhelming!

I think there's a song somewhere in my story...  Perhaps a country song...? ;)

With a herd the size yours maybe you should move to Texas Ha!  Then it won't seem so big.

Maybe just re-work some new lyrics to "I've Got a Tiger by the Tail". I'm sure Buck wouldn't mind.

And if you part with any, there's always "All My Ex's Live in Texas". That'll set you 'Straight'.

How about a new title too,

"I've got a Tiger by the Tale"

since country songs often tell stories.

For example, I here there is more than a little truth to "Wolverton Mountain".

Good stuff you guys.
Tim: well maybe a new home in Alaska.  That will make them fit better, then, of course, you could fit in a few more.  I have a cousin in Fairbanks he sez that there is plenty of room up there.  Then again there are more airport delays and cancellations than in Texas,  makes it tough in the winter to move around.
