Hi Folks,

Up for sale is a 2013 Taylor 816ce, serial number 1107183xxx

I am the second owner. Taylor Guitar's flagship 800 series in a Grand Symphony shape. Solid sitka spruce top, solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, curly maple bindings, and solid ebony fretboard. This beautiful guitar has been properly humidified and is only played in a non-smoking, not-pet household.  ES1.3 works flawlessly. Excellent condition. No dents or scratches on the body or bindings. If not for two pinhole marks in the soundboard (you really need to look for them under the proper light - see pictures in Craislist link below) and some minor fret wear, this guitar would be mint.

The guitar currently has a bone saddle (the original Tusq saddle is included in the sale) and wears fresh phosphor bronze coated strings. The original Taylor Deluxe HSC is included.

Asking $xxxx OBO (paypal friends/family OK) and the buyer pays additional actual shipping/insurance costs.  Item is located in Uwchland PA (19480).  Unless picked up locally, this beautiful guitar will be shipped in a Taylor shipping box with the Taylor inserts.

Absolutely Steve!  I am definitely coco-loco.  Played Brazilian Taylors, Amazon/Madagascar rosewoods from other manufacturers, and most all the other tonewoods offered by Taylor (never played sassafras).  No tonewood has moved me more than cocobolo.  Additionally, I've played all 12-strings I can find from Taylor (except 200/900 series) - none have had the depth and color of my PS56ce.  I am blessed.

My new 6-string arrived Monday and she's about 10 years old..and beyond beautiful.  I have the seller's pictures, but I wanted to take my own to post the NGD.  Stay tuned.  I will state this is the first cocobolo guitar I searched for after playing a very 'high-price tag' BTO cocobolo guitar at a road show in early 2016...just the 12-string crossed my path first and with major GAS pains, I couldn't pass it up.

The new 816ce owner is also ecstatic, so another win-win for us Taylor owners!
