Into the gray...?

Hey all,

I was following a thread in which people were discussing how to discuss gray areas here (I think that was the wording?).

I can't find it now, but am not sure if I'm searching incorrectly or if it was removed.

In addition to any help finding that thread, is there any chance we can have Google Search added to the forum software, so that a Google, site-specific search field appears at the bottom of the page? I've often found that more helpful than using SMF's built-in search function. I always forget, and have to re-look-up, how to search a specific site "manually."

Apparently there are "Google" search options that can be added...I'll look into that.

Sometimes at other forums (I go to a lot of them) I'll forget which sub a thread was in or it has already scrolled to page 3 due to heavy traffic or whatever... And then I can't find it.

What I at times is try to remember one of the member names that had posted in it or who the OP was, then I'll find their profile and look at their posts or threads started, and find it that way.
Cumbersome, but when all else fails it's worth a shot.

Of course, if you can't remember one of the posters, well, then you're just *#$(&$@*!, I guess.

The thread is still there http://www.unofficialtaylorguitarforum.com/index.php?topic=703.0, but locked, the post you're referring to was deleted. Somehow a freelance subversive had gotten onto the forum and was attempting to undermine the very fabric of our existence
