After a lengthy search, I've just invested in a Roland Cube 80GX, which seems to augment all the versatility of my T5's, having a a super jazz chorus clean channel, a few very useable "amp model" settings plus, an excellent acoustic model.
Being lucky enough to have a few friends "in the business", I was able to loan & try out an all valve Laney Cub 12 (too much early crunch/overdrive break up) and a Marshall AS50D 50 watt acoustic amp (restricted the full electric potential of the T5), and the Cube.
The Cube really does provide settings for all the superb & wide range of sounds available onboard the T5, from overdriven crunch and clean electric tones to pure crystal clear acoustic. It takes fx pedals too without any issues, although the onboard effects are superb in their own right also.
I have definitely found my perfect combination; this amp (in my opinion) is a truly superb match with the T5 and I would thoroughly recommend T5 owners looking for a combo amp, try one.
