Aerial Photos
« on: January 06, 2012, 04:05:48 PM »
Hi, a friend has recently got his private pilot's licence and has been taking me flying. We have quite a few castles in our area so I thought I'd share some photos I took today.

Two of them, (Alnwick and Bamburgh) are still privately owned family homes!!

Stunning! :) One of our TV networks used to feature stories on castles, but many of them were just large homes. Wow, these are incredible! Thanks for sharing!

thanks for this pic madx2 :D

wish there was one of these within a reasonable distance of here -
krystal's is nearly a good 2 hours out & it's ok,
but it's definitely not the same ... or even close :(
it's not about what you play,
it's all about why you play ...

Awesome photos.

I remember flying from Madrid to Ibiza, Spain in my buddy's Piper Warrior II. Those were the days.
