I must part with my beautiful Builder's Reserve IV koa guitar and ukulele and so have put them up for sale at
www.cottenmusic.com for $5000. There were only 50 of these made and I don't know of any other available sets at this time. The guitar is a grand symphony model similar to the K26ce but with solid kerfling. The ukulele has a matching vine inlay. I ran into Andy Powers at the summer NAMM and asked him specifically if Taylor had plans to build more ukuleles, as there was much speculation after two reserve sets came out with matching ukuleles that they would put a model in production. He said not. That makes this all koa ukulele very special--and it sounds as good as it looks. I purchased these istruments new in the box and they have been kept in a humidified enclosed cabinet and barely played.
