Using a subwoofer with your Pa System
« on: June 28, 2015, 09:20:06 AM »
Talking to a couple experienced sound guys and even when I went to a music place in Palm Springs a couple months ago , they all told me the same .Instead of trading your Fender Passprt 500 in for one with more power I'm way better off getting a subwoofer and it will totally change the sound of my Passport .fender recently came out with a sub designed just for the passport so I bought one .My kid is a hotshot drummer ,in fact he played right behind Sawer Brown this weekend here at a rodeo .While I played here at home he kept tweeking the sound for me with the new woofer . My 500 watt Passport with the sub has 750 watts now instead of 500 and she does put out good sound no doubt . Any of you out there have experience with Subwoofers with you PA systems ? Cause we don't hear onstage and it's hard to balance out the sound so the sub volume and the PA sound is balanced out .
