2014 812ce - sweet and lovely PHOTOS ADDED
« on: April 08, 2015, 09:12:34 AM »
Reluctantly I'm parting with my 2014 812ce, for $2500.00. The retail on this is $3499.

This is Taylor's recent "redesigned model" with the new bracing, new glues, new voicing, and so on.

I've played this instrument a lot over the last 5 months and it has opened up beautifully offering lots of chime, warmth and lushness.

Physically it is in excellent shape. No dings or dents, and only one tiny surface scratch on the front, beneath the pickguard, that you would not see if I didn't point it out (made by me within the first hour of ownership, when I was trying to be *so careful* ugh!) The instrument has been babied like crazy - it's been kept in a humidity controlled room since I bought it and has always been treated with the utmost care.

Of course it comes with Taylor's hardhsell case which is also in great shape. I will pay shipping.

Photos coming soon.. I just wanted to get this out there for those of you who already know how beautiful looking the new 8 series is!

Hmm. Absoultely no responses on this.

Is my asking price way out of line, or are people just not interested in this model??

It's definitely not the guitar because that GC is SUWEET.  It is possible though that it could be your pricing when you consider the discounts people are able to get.  But it may be more probable that you're not getting responses here because the pool of possible buyers is a little small.  I would consider putting it on the AGF as well, many more eyes over there.  I would also advertise in your local craigslist.  I can't see how you won't sell that awesome git.

Beautiful guitar.
If I could afford it, I'd buy it!  8)

If it were the 12 fret version, I'd be in the market for it.

If still around after I sell my 2014 814ce I may have some interest.

Like others.. it's out of my price range but it is a sweeeet git. Also.. I'm gonna win the 614 :) try one of the bidding places perhaps.
