Not so perfect for Pirates fans; the Buccos got sunk by the Reds 5-2... :(

looked like spring in philadelphia yesterday.  at least the red sox loved it.

. . . upon further reflection, there was a guitar-like component to the game.  sox scored 8 "runs" on 4 "soloes" and a "gs".  No, that's not a "grand symphony" but it sure was grand.

after a weekend where the temperature climbed from 30s to 50s and a favorable weekly forecast ahead, it looks like spring is finally here.  today is supposed to be the best day of the week with sun, no wind, and temps in the upper 60s in boston.  just in time for the red sox home opener at 3pm.

Early Spring here.  today it is 65 deg.  But tomorrow snow is predicted :'(  Last week we had between 50 to 60 deg. Then we had on last Thursday 5 inches of snow, all gone the next day.
