playing backing tracks

Hi,
  What would be best solution for playing backing tracks , (portable).  Practising outside,etc?

If you have an iPad the Loopy app is nice to practice along with.  Or, check out iRealPro for backing tracks.  Also, there is a website where the guy has recorded a lot of backing tracks, I will record them on my iPhone and then load into the amazing slow downer and then I can loop them to play along with.

No expert but I play recorded backing tracks from my Ipod plugged straight into the spare channel on my Roland Cube with an adaptor cable supplied with the amp. Works great.
