so here's a reply you wouldn't have expected...
I'd like to see a 6 string banjo with nylon strings, based on a 12" pot and that beautifully playable,
1 7/8 wide Taylor nylon string guitar neck.

If we're going to dream, I would add that I'd LOVE to see an all Koa Baritone Ukulele to match my K24ce.  I know they made a limited run of Tenor Uke's in the "builder's reserve", but I think it would be a cool addition.

6 String Banjo? Deering is making the Goodtime banjo in just that configuration, it was my favorite piece of gear at the show last year. As for a Taylor uke, how much would you want to spend? I think it cost about the same to make a quality uke as it does to make a guitar..

I know it will not happen but,  I would like to see mandolins coming out of El Cajon.  Collings makes a pretty good mandolin, why not Taylor? ???

If you've been paying attention here lately, (brought to you here before anyone on the web did), Taylor will clearly make a big splash with the revoiced maple 600 series. There are whole threads here on that.

Let's see, we also know they'll introduce a Grand Orchestra version of the 400 series, the 418e and maybe 418ce? Taylor has started putting a gloss finish on all the ovangkol sides and back of the 400 series now as well.

On their acoustic models, I think that's all I could guess. Too early to announce Spring Limiteds I think. Anyone else hazard a guess?

As to what I would want? Really easy:

Hey Taylor. It's the year 2015. How about a very unobtrusive tuner built in? I'll even give you a headstart. Put tiny (I mean tiny) LEDs embedded in the guitar saddle, one per string. Second option? Integrate them into the 3 volume knobs on a ce model. How exactly? Well, if we get that far, I'm available. Ok...go!  8)

imagine how neat it would be if it had a maple Deering or Vega neck, truss rod, slotted peghead, and ebony fret board

I will second the dream of an accessible (not builders reserve) Taylor Ukulele! In all sizes, Soprano, Concert, Tenor. In light of their recent and successful Koa offerings, it should be a no brainer.

This will more likely be what Taylor will be showcasing at NAMM, along with their plans for the future of sustainable woods.

I'd like to see a new body style. A Grand Parlor,  GP. Traditional parlor shape, solid b&s, and about 24 1/4 inch scale. Priced range between a 3XX and a 5XX.

A maple series other than the (pricey) 600 series: one that didn't use the figured (flamed/quilted) wood and didn't have all the fancy appointments. Aesthetically it wouldn't be as "deluxe" but they could produce the same character of sound while keeping the cost down due to using satin finish on the back, etc. I think this fits in with the direction of sustainability; there's a lot of "plain" maple out there that Taylor can use to make a perfectly good guitar.

Come to think of it, Taylor did a limited edition 300 series about 10-12 years ago with some rather pedestrian-looking maple. Those were a great deal.

I really am "done" with getting another guitar.  While GAS hits, for me it quickly fades as soon as I grab something (or even think of) the wonderful stable I am fortunate to have.  But this mini in nylon is a brilliant suggestion ...and make it a cedar top, please.  I'd succumb to that really fast.
