My new 512e TF mahogany/cedar has arrived. This is absolutely a gorgeous guitar. It still surprises me everytime I pick it up and play it. It is the most introvert guit in my stable as far as looks are concerned, but I have the impression that it is by far the most extravert in sound. Boy, beautiful!
This is my first guitar with the ES2 system. All my others have the K&K mini's installed. I was clearly not at all a fan of the predecessors of the ES2, but this thing really works. I plugged it directly into my AER Compact 60 and it again surprised me. Taylor did its homework this time. Wow!
