Nice choice!  Pretty sure the 322 is not all hog though, it's got sapele b/s.  You'd have to go up to a 522 to get all hog, sorry.
No apology necessary.....I miss spoke.
no worries :)
tropical/honduras mahogany, sapele & khaya sometimes get used interchangeably
sapele - Entandrophragma cylindricum, was listed as sapele mahogany in the 98-00 Taylor catalog
http://www.wood-database.com/lumber-identification/hardwoods/sapele/

tropical/genuine 'hog - Swietenia macrophylla, used on the 500 series, neck 300s/up except 600s (hard rock maple)
http://www.wood-database.com/lumber-identification/hardwoods/honduran-mahogany/

african 'hog - Khaya anthotheca, used on the 04-06 300s (with no fretboard binding)
http://www.wood-database.com/lumber-identification/hardwoods/african-mahogany/

used by other builders (not true mahoganies/Swietenia)
phillipine 'hog - meranti & lauan (plywood) not in the Swietenia or Khaya family
http://www.wood-database.com/lumber-identification/hardwoods/philippine-mahogany/

nato - nyatoh, used for solid necks/laminate back & sides
http://www.wood-database.com/lumber-identification/hardwoods/nyatoh/

sipo 'hog/Utile - Entandrophragma
http://www.wood-database.com/lumber-identification/hardwoods/utile/

some builders are using it (sipo) for solid necks, as well as spanish cedar, rather than laminate

http://www.martinguitar.com/new/item/3454-000rsgt.html

santos 'hog - Myroxylon balsamum
http://www.wood-database.com/lumber-identification/hardwoods/santos-mahogany/

density & hardness is more similar to madagascar rosewood than 'hog, different elastic modulus
http://www.wood-database.com/lumber-identification/hardwoods/madagascar-rosewood/

cuban 'hog - Swietenia mahogani, a true mahogany that some smaller builders use
http://www.wood-database.com/lumber-identification/hardwoods/cuban-mahogany/

very nice, but it is a bit $-cey for 'hog

congrats on the 322 8) -
i had a 99 314mce & 310m 25th anniversary 'hog top/sapele models,
but they had the "classic" non-forward shifted x-bracing & no relief rout

i liked the tone of the all 'hog martin J15 made around the same time, perhaps a few years later, before they
started using sapele, so much so i had a couple, sold both, was able to reacquire one only to have to let it go again :-\

my first Taylor, waiting on a special order 614ce was a 01 314ce & i put the most playing time on that guitar -
it was the closest tone i could find to maple (fall LTDs were 6 months out then) & in the right hands, not mine,
i could hear the flamenco reminiscent "pop" of the sapele, kind of like 'hog, but with a touch of maple's clarity/definition

picked up a 13 sitka top 312 recently -
love the feel (short scale) & the 4 3/8" body/Standard II bracing
give it more "push" than the 01 314ce (when it was relatively young)

has it been that long ???
where did the last 12 years fly off to :-\
it's not about what you play,
it's all about why you play ...

See what happens when you hang around us....you get the disease that many of us have. The Taylors just start multiplying for no known reason. You fit right in here. Now we'll need to see pics of the DN3 too.
