Been hoping to find a R Taylor Style 2 for a while. Was hoping for Cedar/Walnut but this one (Cedar/EIR) popped up at a price I couldn't pass up. You just don't find them everyday at more than
XX% off MSRP. I am the third owner of the guitar (2 previous AGF owners) but to look at it you would think it was brand new.
For those who have played an R Taylor, you know the tone is similar to a regular Taylor only refined. The short scale on this one along with the Cedar/Rosewood bring a very nice bottom. Mids are a little scooped but the highs are wonderfully round and fat. Harmonics ring out and the sustain is awesome. A fantastic fingerstyle guitar!
