Cowboy, many thanks for your message; guess like me I realised my Yamaha has lasted 29 years and if I only ever bought one more guitar and kept it that long it would be my last. Now I've definitely realised it isn't going to be just one! I'm making a list and trying to determine which I get first (i.e. those that may be gone forever, like the 918e First Edition or 814ce NOS) against what I can get later, assuming that not all the ranges get Andy Power'ed before I get them sitting pretty in my room (I'm realising there needs to be room for a 600 in there somewhere!). The upgrade (?) to the 800's may or may not be an improvement depending on personal point of view - but one thing is for sure, it threw me having spent several weeks/months deciding that I liked the 800/900 sound! Im due a business trip to the Middle East next week and envisage a first purchase before then, so I have something to look forward to playing when I get back, so watch this space!

I wonder if you ever made the decision on which guitar to get?

Welcome....you've come to the right place. We will make darn well sure you pick up a nice Taylor or two or three or........

I think you're right about that, I'm already planning a music room for them all to sit in!
That's what I ended up doing (actually, with a lot of help from my husband)  ::). He even built me a cabinet for them.

Oh mgap, decisions, decisions! I've been so busy with work, which is a good thing, that this took a short back-burner; now I've gone round and round on myself and trying to decide between 3 guitars - klnowing I really want them all! Have had a bit of a Mahogany epithany so toying between a GS Fall Limited 2012 (sapelle I know but you get the tone) and a GS Fall Limited 2010 with figured mahogany...........hey, I've waited nearly 50 years so taking a few weeks to decide isn't so bad!

Not to muddy the waters, but here's a really nice mahogany beauty for your consideration. I own one of these, and it is magnificent!
