Hi Guys
             Well, after pestering you lovely people for the last couple of months about twelve strings, I finally bit the bullet. Went to the store today and came away with a beautiful 456CE SLTD. Not only is it a NGD it's also my birthday so I took a day off work and celebrated in style. I've played it a few times over the past couple of weeks and it just kept saying "take me home you old fool". so I did. The store did me a great deal taking my unloved Strat as a part trade throwing in spare strings, polish and a tuner as a birthday present. My wife came along to "tut" and shake her head a lot before ordering a Taylor guitar stool to add the final touch to a perfect day. :) :) ;D ;D 8)

Wow...you made out really well. Pretty nice BD! Would love to see pics of your new Taylor. Congrats!

Congratulations.   Yes,Taylors make great birthday presents. I have a stupid birthday later this week, for which occasion my wife bought me a one-off custom Taylor GC 12-fret 2 1/2 years ago.  I "officially" get my guitar this Saturday.

I am not sure I understand that statement.  Are you saying that your wife bought you a guitar 2 1/2 years ago and you are just now being given it this Saturday.  You already have a 12th fret in your signature, so now you'll have two?  cool. :o
