812ce 1st Edition 12-Fret - Pics and More Impressions
« on: April 21, 2014, 08:27:36 PM »
After more time with this fine instrument, I am liking it all the more ... it feels and plays so smooth and easy ... light weight and intimate ... one word which comes to mind immediately when describing the tone/sound is "articulate'; 'very articulate' (OK, that's 2 words  8) )
... every note is so balanced and clear ... good depth and volume for a guitar its size ... it has such resonance and sustain; I can feel it vibrate with "life" as I play and the amount of sustain frankly surprised me at first ... really nice ... very pleased with the purchase ... still gotta grow into the HD Lights but I think I'm gonna keep running those ... I may try the regular PB Lights next string change just to hear/feel the contrast though ... this guy is #9 of 50 ... (forgive my lack of photo skills -- cameras don't have strings)

** I noticed that on the photo of the back, my own reflection interfered with the shot **

Very nice looking guitar. I like how the pick guard mirrors the body.  Congratulations and enjoy.

Congratulations Scriptor.  It is a beautiful 812.  The x12s feel so nice to hold and play.  I had a 712ce and I agree with you when you say

and I am sure that the 812 has the tone and sound you describe.  It will give you much pleasure I am sure. ;D

Beautiful guitar! Nice to see that you're liking it more as time goes on. I have an 812e on the way. Played a new 814 and liked it a lot.
