My first maple guitar and my first GS, I am very impressed with the fit and finish, new old stock with the 3 piece back, wow, she is a beauty. My ear is still getting used to the tone, different from both my IRW and Hog, no better or worse just different. Quite loud and the sustain is just incredible, to my surprise she reacts to soft finger picking very well. I'll switch out the srings to Elixer P/B's this weekend as suggested by Edward and see how she sounds. I have the Tone-Rite working her when not played, I find it opens up the top a bit. If I can figure it our I'll post some pics...................bill
