Has anyone here heard of or even shopped at a place called Alto Music? They have a 214sb I am very interested in. Looks like they are in NY & NJ. I saw them on Ebay.
Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Jim

i stopped there a few years ago when i was looking for my Adamas 2080sr. they had an excellent selection( and a few Alto exclusives). the staff was very good to get a long with. just left me alone when i wanted to be and happily retrieved any guitar i would ask about. very professional.

Very good store (actually 3 locations).  I've been to 3 roadshows at their Spring Valley NY location. I believe they are the country's largest independant Taylor dealer.

PS all locations are in NY, .but their Spring Valley store is convenient to get to from Northern NJ.  Technically the"Spring Valley" store is in Airmont, NY if you are Googling the address.

I shop there all the time. I've purchased a lot of Taylor BTO's through them plus a few Martins. My brother bought a killer ten piece custom ordered Tama drum set. Awesome sales staff. They are one of the top 10 music retailers in the US. I like that they are a privately owned music store.

i'm pretty sure this model is exclusive to alto
http://altomusic.com/taylor-limited-edition-214-acoustic-guitar-in-sunburst

they've got a 210 SB too
http://altomusic.com/taylor-limited-edition-210-acoustic-guitar-in-sunburst
they have them with the ES-T, but i've seen these at GC & a 210eBLK too (also on martin music's site)
http://altomusic.com/taylor-limited-edition-210e-acoustic-electric-guitar-in-sunburst

looks like the 214e SBs are all gone
http://altomusic.com/taylor-limited-edition-214e-acoustic-electric-guitar-in-sunburst

here's something a little different for a lefty
http://altomusic.com/taylor-114ce-lefty-grand-auditorium-acoustic-electric-guitar-in-satin-sunburst

between their 3 locations, it looks like they've got 115 Taylors in stock, some FEs & modify-a-models too -
i've only heard good things about alto & they seem to have a pretty nice selection to choose from :)
