HOG HEAVEN!
« on: March 27, 2014, 07:34:52 AM »
2 new Taylor's in one week.... I went hog wild you could say.  :D

320e Baritone SLTD: This thing is an incredible value! It plays much easier than I thought it would with the heavier strings. The low end has a deep growl that you can feel against your chest. I can see my other Taylor's getting jealous over this one. I think Taylor hit it out of the park with this guitar. The piece of mahogany they used on the top is beautiful as are the sapele back/sides. I love the satin finish. It plays and sounds great all the way up the neck. You can hear and see it here:

528e w/ES2: This is another beautiful instrument! I am hooked on the all mahogany sound. The GO size has a really cool voice. This one plays great right out of the box too. It is a big heavy guitar but very easy to play. The low end is big but as they say, it is very balanced. These mahogany guitars have a sound that is in my wheelhouse. You can hear and see it here:

If she wouldn't understand, then she may not be the one for you. Remember, it's better to have loved and lost, than to not have more guitars than you could ever possibly need. True story.

yeah, i go thru a few of "the Blondes"... i could get the 526ce, then take her to the desert resort of 29 Palms..... that's an almost free trip ! who wouldn't love to go "30 miles from water" ? ... no wonder i go thru so many....
