NGD! HV GSMini!

Been awhile since I had a NGD!  Got it this afternoon and haven't opened the box yet as I managed to sneak it in the house without being seen but haven't had the time to go open and see it.

Amazing, I ordered it last Friday night and here it was this afternoon!  Not even a week for it to get here.

I'm excited, I can't wait to see what I looks like.  I'll post some pics and a review later tonight...

I love this guitar!  The maple back and sides are magnificent and the top has a little striping right down the middle.

It sure is LOUD!  However, the medium strings are killing my fingers, apparently mandolin callouses are not as thick as Taylor guitar callouses.....lol!

Looks lovely. And those Taylor callouses will help with the mandolin.

that's gonna stripe up pretty good. and don't worry about the mediums... you get used to them quickly..i don't notice them anymore.

i wouldn't hesitate to try some medium lights (elixir 16077 or martin FX745) at the next string change -
the last mini i tried, i couldn't deal with the .013 e & .017 B at all, even with the 23.5" scale &
the 14 mini e RW i saw the other day had PBs on it, which also brings the tension up a hair

the maple veneer on the HV mini pics i've seen seems to be a very consistent, highly figured AA flame -
that would be if there were some of it "left over" for some natural 200 series MA-DLX LTDs, perhaps
